Notes: Appears to be from the same set as First Baptist Church postcard. History: Originally planned to be a three-story building, the plans were changed to five-stories after the bank officials learned of a five-story bank under construction in Longview. Construction was completed in 1913 and on January 1, 1914, First National Bank moved into the building. In 1961 the bank was demolished and a new structure was built on the opposite corner of the intersection. More Information: Read more in Jacksonville: the Story of a Dynamic Community, 1872-1972.
