Dearest Mother: We are all O.K. Went down town Sat. in our car to shop and to church yesterday morning. Bu??? is doing fine with it. Had our first killing frost a few nights ago. Got Ivy's letter last night. Thank you for paying the insurance. We sent them $1.00 about two or three weeks ago, but haven't got receipt for it yet. Love to all from

History:
Originally planned to be a three-story building, the plans were changed
to five-stories after the bank officials learned of a five-story bank
under construction in Longview.
Construction was completed in 1913 and on January 1, 1914, First National
Bank moved into the building. In 1961 the bank was demolished and a new
structure was built on the opposite corner of the intersection.
