Comments:

"I lived on Prather and Brown st. as a kid in the early 60's, and I remember this house as being on Bonner and Devereux. I knew a kid whose family lived in this house back then."

- Larry Swinney

"I believe Bonner & Devereau is correct. It was not torn down, but is currently falling down. It was a darling place and I wish someone had restored it in time."

- Carol Staton

"I've compared a few documents (1916 Directory, 1930 Census and a 1931 map) and have learned that at those times, this was the home of the night watchman for Aber Box & Crate Factory, William T. Hammett. The crate factory took up almost the whole of this block."

- Greg Smith

"The family that lived in it in the fifties and Sixties that Larry Swinney commented about was the Saunders family. Ruby and Richard along with three boys Rickie,Ronnie and Randy."

- Mr. H.

"Correction, their name was Sanders instead of Saunders. The nightwatchman, Jack Lovelady, and his family lived one house from the Sanders on Bonner with the big porch and pecan trees in front."

- Artie Lovelady Peterson
