"The old Dairy Queen shown here was a great hangout on Friday night during the Football games across the street at the Tomato Bowl. after the game EVERYONE would head for the DQ for a couple of hours. They would stay open as long as we kept buying Coke Floats and fries!"

"I and others in Junior High ate many a lunch at this Dairy Queen. I remember that the cost for a chili dog, large order of frie, and large root beer was 45 cents. Now, that's a bargain!!"

"My first trip to this Dairy Queen was in 1965. My brother and I were in the back seat of my father's brand new 1964-1/2 Mustang. He threatened us with our lives if we spilled anything in his new car! My mother ate the vanilla soft serve with fritos! Do people still do that?"
