Cherokee County.—We regret to learn that one of the workmen attached to Reynold's New York Circus was killed recently at Jacksonville, Cherokee county, by a desperado of that place. It is represented to have been a most cold blooded, unprovoked murder. The ruffian made his escape. The citizens of Jacksonville and the proprietors of the Circus together offer $600 reward for his arrest.

The unfortunate man murdered was a citizen of Grayson county, and leaves an interesting, but now disconsolate family to mourn his untimely death.—Trinity Advocate.
